Jainism by definition

We have been constantly seeking answers to a number of questions since we have come in connection with Gurudev. It’s been that awakening of the soul that has helped us develop interest in the spiritual direction. As we step in this direction, we want to be able talk to other people about it. As you answer some of their questions, a new one develops. As you talk to different people about it, they present their own views with the limited knowledge they have gained, from books or from Gurudev.

Understanding the Right

One of the most common problems with a Human life is we don’t questions about our existence  We have never tried to understand why we do the certain things we do. Whatever we know is something that we have learnt from books or have experienced. Spirituality to any of us is still a question mark, because we are used to living a life that is proved by science. We expect proof, otherwise it doesn’t exist.

A conversation about Jainism with a few Look n Learn kids is something that is truly amazing. As you get to know these children you realize that there is something different.

No compare… No Complaints…

One of the key takeaways from Gurudev’s daily preaching’s was this: “No compare… No complaints”. Come to think of it, it’s a simple rule one can apply to lead a happier life. There are however hidden meanings behind every sentence that a guru makes, and this again is one of them. I’m going to on this blog try and explain what that is.
